Had a bad day at the lake this past weekend wasn't out there 20 mins and hit a log And broke my prop and prop shaft off. Just purchased a prop shaft and prop and kinda wanna do it myself instead of spending a couple hundred letting someone else do it. If anyone has done this and have any advice for me it'd be very much appreciated!

Your going to need a specialty tools to do it. I would get a shop manual for the motor and read through the procedure for a prop shaft before you start taking it apart. You may decide to hire it out after checking out the procedure. You may find additional damage in the lower as well. Good luck

Well got my prop and prop shaft Friday and had it out on and ready to go in about 20 minutes. Was really amazed at how simple it really was. I didn't need a special tool but thanks to everyone for the help!
