I originally posted in bass fishing section but didn't get many responses so I thought I would try here as well. I was curious if anyone may know if a cover can be altered. I have a custom fit cover and am wanting to upgrade trolling motors from a 42'' to a 50'' shaft. Would an alteration be possible or would I have to get a new cover? It was mentioned in my previous post that a section could be added in for the trolling motor head. Does anyone have any suggestions where I could have this done?

yeah they can be changed up however you need them. Be aware it may not be a perfect match as they fade a bit if its in the sun.

Could you take an aurora cover to any upholstery shop to get any rips or holes repaired also?

I have an Aurora custom cover for a Triton 186. I needed some alteration so I contacted them. They said to get someone local. It can be altered. I decided to just live with what I have. My Aurora cover is stout - they make good covers.
