As you probably know, the mini cam locks on the compartment doors are horrible. Always breaking. Has anyone drilled out the lock hole and put the bigger cam locks in?

Got the same problem with my 05.
They suck, and only 3 of them actually work. I was thinking about just going and buying new locks from a hardware store and installing them.

I have order replacement locks and replaced them before. The replacements worked and lasted 4 or 5 years but now they are breaking as well. I was thinking about drilling the holes out a little larger and installing the standard diameter cam locks. I may just have to replace the small locks again.
