I have a Guest 3 bank charger. It's a new charger but I didn't install it. Both positive and negative wires have in-line fuses. I have a cranking battery and 24v trolling motor batteries hooked up to it.

With no power to the charger, the fuses on one of the trolling motor batteries blows immediately when I reconnect the in line fuse.

Ive disconnected the trolling motor plug.

Any ideas? I'm probably missing something easy (I hope).

Get the battery checked. Load test it at auto parts. Bad cell ( shorted) in battery maybe. Change the charge wires over to the bat that is not blowing fuses. If it still blows its in the charger.

Great idea. I swapped the wiring and same wire with blowing fuse continued to blow. Must be bad charger.
