I saw a thread about someone setting up their tunnel hull. I too have one, got a couple questions.

1. The console was moved back about six inches from where it was installed at the factory. If I move it back where it was originally wouldn't that make my steering cable a little longer at the back.

2. Asking about length of steering cable because my motor is not in top hole on jack plate, and with it fully raised and in the top hole I believe the steering cable would be too short.

You should be able to pull enough cable to see if it fits or not.

Hydraulic or fixed plate?

Hydraulic.

I didn't speak clearly, bad about doing that on here.

Right now it is in hole 3 from top, when I raise plate all the way at present time cable looks to be on short side. If I move console back where it was, this should give me some slack in the cable so that I can put the motor in the higher hole.

Nevermind, it ain't gonna go any higher. Its in hole number three in the motor, and top hole in jack plate. Motor's bottom slot won't allow it to go up another hole.
