I inherited some older green CU-200 Curados. They haven't been cleaned in years and one of them screams so loud during casting that my buddy almost kicked me out of the boat. I got them dis-assembled and they were dirty. Got everything cleaned but I've read a bunch of threads that differ on where to grease and where to oil. The Shimano site says to lightly grease the main gear and drag washers. Oil on the brake collars, shaft spool and brake spool bearing (I replaced the bearings recently with boco's). I've seen some other videos and threads that say only to put a thin coat of grease on the drag washer but no where else. Should I put grease on the main gear? What about the roller clutch bearing? Here is the shimano link: http://fish.shimano.com/content/dam/shim...ing%20Reels.pdfAny tips are appreciated.

Don't use any lube on the roller clutch bearing that is best way to ruin one also grease the gears a special grease is used on drag washers.

Grease on the main gear and just a little on the idle gears. If youre using Shimano grease than the same grease goes on the gears and the drag. Only grease half the main gear, if you do the whole thing then you end up with globs of grease piled up on the yoke.
