I got this reel used for my son and this weekend it started acting up. I need a parts diagram so I can order the part for it from BPS. If you have one you can scan and send or take a picture and send that would be great. Just PM me for contact info. Thanks. Or if you happen to have a new level wind pin for this reel I would be willing to buy it from you. Just for info, the level wind gets stuck on one side of the reel and will not return across the worm shaft without a little prodding. The reel is clean so it has to be a worn pin or even the shaft maybe. Starting with simplest and cheapest first.

What your looking for is called the level wind pawl. I'd be really surprised if Bass Pro stocks many parts for them.

I actually found a phone number to their rod and reel repair facility in Missouri. They looked up the pawl and I ordered it from them. $2.00 and I ordered a new worm shaft to be on the safe side for another $6.00. It should be here in a week. They actually repair or have or can get parts for anything they sell is what they told me.

Could even be a worn levelwind gear causing the issue. Although most likely it is a worn pawl/levelwind. you can generally tell if those are messed up by wiping off any dirt or grease (dont have to dissassemble the reel) and looking for wear marks in the levelwind.

The reel is clean this was its first outing. I couldn't see the pawl itself but given that it would travel one way but not return the other unless nudged gave me a good indication it is the pawl. The worm shaft looks fairly worn as well so I figured it was just as easy to just replace them both and be done.
