I lost a screw from the bail on one of my reels. I looked online but all they sell is outfits. Where can I get a replacement screw?

I searched online as well, no good answer for you.
This is a stretch.....................................................another similar screw on the reel for comparison, then just go to Lowe's or Home Depot?

As I said, it's a s t r e t c h!

Thought about that too 65 but this thing is really small. Plus I don't know it might be metric. Where are Shakespeare reels made?

I don't want to take the chance of messing up the first couple threads. It's on a UL reel.

If I have to I will but would almost rather spend three times more and making absolutely sure of getting the right one.

More than likely, they are Eastern produced, but country of origin, who knows.

Research shows Shakespeare was acquired by K2, Inc, in 1996, then Jarden, a sporting goods company in 2007...

Oh, and the best bet is to go to a repair shop and ask them to look in their drawer of spare parts.

...wisdom

They probably don't offer parts because you can just go buy another brand new one for $20. Not worth having parts stocked to fix cheap reels I would imagine. I agree with your best bet being finding someone with a bunch of spare parts/screws. Bound to find one close enough to work eventually
