I have been using one for a few months now. i can flip a T rig or jig a country mile but backlash alot more then usual when I try snd make a
long cast and I have been using baitcasters for over 20 years. Anyone else use one and had the same trouble? I just cant seem to get it dialed in.

That's exactly why I switched from Quantum to Shamino years ago. My experience with Quantum was they required constant adjustment to cast properly.

I can't help ya much either other than echoing Puma. Except I went to mostly all Diawa's and a few Lew's and couldn't be happier.

I have a few Quantum's and I have a tough time controlling them as well. Brakes always need to be messed with. I am with Shimano and H2O Express Motive's. Hard to beat those 2.

Have you taken the side plate off? there is a second spool adjustment there too.
