I've got 4 of the veritas. I bought all of them at BPS and within 2 months I had broken all of them. One while swinging in a 3lber, the other three while casting. All of them broke in almost the exact same spot. I exchanged all of them without a problem. I'm thinking I got a bad batch or they were possibly damaged during shipping...who knows for sure. That being said, I've used and abused them for the past year and have not had one problem out any of them. I'm my opinion, you'll be hard pressed to find a lighter, stronger, more sensitive rod for the money

they are pretty strong, but not real sensitive. . the metal cap on the end will leave some scars on hook sets on the vendetta. I would look more towards a company who just makes rod and leave abu to reels

I just bought a Veritas from academy, They are $70.00 plus tax with the Rod Riot event they going on. I have been catching stripers on it, i really like it but...... there is always a but.... I casted it with a 3/8 oz jerk bait and heard a slight crack. Also when i set the hook, heard it again. Not sure what is really happen but no visual damages. Plus They Look AWESOME!!

I have one of each and have had no problems fishing them really hard for about that last 6 months. some claim that a MH really feels like a H, but mine seem spot on.
fatty has more posts than you. I have more beer in my garage right now than you!

I just bought a spinning Vendetta MH 7' at the Rod Riot. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Would have bought a Falcon but they were out of the MH. We'll see how it does with the Garcia SX.

I have a MH Vendetta that I use for spinnerbaits and love it. Ive caught lots of nice bass on it without issue. I bought the 7'6" Veritas "Winch" for cranking and caught the 18.14lb catfish on it picturd below. It handled the fish nicely and I wasnt worried about it breaking at all. Most broken rods are due to misuse not manufacturing defect. Not saying some arent defective from the factory but I feel most arent. I also just bought a H 7' Veritas for jig fishing and really like it. It is a little stiff but it'll lay a hook into a fish with ease.

I just got a 7' M micro guide and love it. Put a couple of fat fish in the boat on Sunday with no issues. I would consider getting an action lighter than you think. They run a little stiffer than other brands. The MH is more like a H, etc.

I have 4 veritas and 1 vendetta. No problems, caught several over 5lbs. . Very pleased. Best rod under $100 IMO.
