Got one in the 6.3:1 gears ratio. It is an awesome reel, and is easier to Palm than the original tatula.

I've got big hands and have no problems palming the original Tatula's. But glad they are a better option for some people. I love all my Tatulas! Great reels. Especially for the price.

I wanted to get one of the tatula type r's in the 8.1 ratio, but was too big for my hands, so I'm glad they came out with the ct model. I think I'm gonna get a tatula type r in the 8.1 gears also. I fished with the ct today for the first time and it is a well built reel for the price.
