Hey guys, just curious to see if any of you have ever used this rod? They have it marked down to $69.99 from $129. I have heard that it is a 13 Fishing product, but not sure. They also have the 13 Fishing Omen black on sale for $70. Brother is looking at them, and I figured I would get some input.
13 Fishing or GSX Elite?

I personally would stay away from any of the store branded items. Most are cheap Chinese knockoffs. Their name brand stuff is OK, but the big boxes ell at full retail. Look for an out of state retailer that offers free shipping. Even with no sales tax, it's going to be cheaper and it will be delivered to your door with minimal hassle.

The GSX Elite rods are ok. They use good components and for $69 they are a good value. I think they are a bit heavy.
The 13 Fishing Omen rods are good rods. I think they are a bit heavy too but are a good rod and at $70, a good deal.
You should take advantage of the sale. Even the online retailers do not offer these rods at discount.
