I'm looking for a surf rod for jetty and water outlet fishing wondering if yall had any recommendations?

Price no more than 100 unless it's a good quality rod.

I'm going to either pair it with a ci4+ 4000 or a Stradic fj 8000

Thanks

I haven't able to find a descent surf rod for less $100. Surf rod that are less than $100 are heavy in weight. Believe me, after about 5 cast, you would want a light surf rod. A decent surf rod for a little over $100 would be the Diawa Emcast that I have used. You would want a light rod with a strong back bone to pull large fish and strong current. There's better rod but it would be would be about $150+. Why pair a cheap rod with the the reels you have?
