  Picked up a cheap Jigmaster 500s. Overhauled it, put a new knob on it,5.1gears and carbon drag washers in it. Turned out nice.

It actually cast pretty decent. I used it last night on a 12' okuma longitude surf rod at Lake Waco spillway in the fast flowing water. A 3/0 weight was OK. I plan on playing around with an aluminum spool and a bug mag kit in the future.

Probably need a leather stopper if you were using large weights cause the spools so big it'll burn your thumb off when you cast lol
