I'm looking for a new bow mount unit.
After spending considerable time on the HB site, can someone confirm the following... - there are no TM transducers offered for 'mega' units - the smallest unit I can get with 2 card slots is the Helix 9 series
If that is true, how bad will I miss 'mega' vs 'chirp only' on the images?
It looks like the Helix 9 chirp DI GPS is what I'll end up with.
My best graph now is a HB 898c so I'd guess either will be a significant improvement.

They do offer mega tm xducers. When you get your new di unit do not open the transducer hardware bag or undo the transducer. Call Humminbird and swap it out for the trolling motor transducer https://www.humminbird.com/Products/XTM-9-MDI-T/Yes, helix 9 would be the smallest screen that would have 2 SD card slots

Thanks for the help 44.
Do I have to buy the unit from HB or can I buy from BPS and do the swap for the reduced price with HB if I don't open the packaging? I'd like to get the BPS points.

Plus pay the $60.00 for shipping and transducer cost. Dont expect one in the next few days though... I was on a waiting list for 6 weeks. They will give you a return authorization number too. But since Ive done mine, major difference.
Thanks again diesel
