I just purchased a lowrance 16 3d and am installing it on my xpress x70 Monday I am hoping to install it to get the best pictures on side image possible any tricks or insight would be appreciated. my plan is to place the lss 12 in from motor and the 83/200 12 in from it a little bit higher on same side. My boat dealer wants to put the lss on left of motor and the 83/200 on right but the manual says to place them within 12 inches off each other thank you in advance for any input.

Make sure LSS is level as the boat would sit in the water.
