Been having problems with my Xi5 remote, it would just stop working I would open it up reinstall batteries and it would start back working, sometimes I could just bump it in my palm and it would work
Well this time it quit while I was fishing off a steep rocky bank and by the time I got on the outboard got it started and in reverse the wind had pushed me into the bank , damaged the Xi5 foot, prop and mounting bracket and the prop on my outboard trying to get out of there
Now MotorGuide Customer Service says there probably not going to even Fix the Xi5

Use your boat insurance and have all fixed.

Hi David,
it's the one I bought from you, if you have any contacts at MotorGuide or Tips on how to get this resolved I would appreciate any help. I just want them to make good on the Trolling Motor, It's bad enough that it damaged my boat, stainless steel prop and skeg but to be paid $2000 for a Trolling Motor you can't depend on mad
