Ah, the joys of new boat ownership. It just stopped working. I was making my way down some slips, caught a fish, took me a minute to get the hook out and when I went to use the TM there was no power. Electronics were working fine, motor started right up...any tips? Or any good Minn Kota mechanics in the Mckinney/Plano/Lewisville area?
If you can't find em wind em.

Check the simple things first. Make sure the switch on the foot pedal is set to mom. Check the circuit breaker next the the trolling motor batteries too

Take a volt meter and check the plug. If the plug has power, plug back in and check the TM. IF you still have nothing, you have narrowed it down to the TM. Plug the TM plug apart and make sure that a wire hasn't backed off. If it looks ok, then you could have a TM issue that needs addressed. Better a TM issue, than a boat issue.

This is my "I'm an idiot" face: Had a couple sets of pliers up against the pedal that had switched the TM power to off.
If you can't find em wind em.

We've all been there in some form. It's part of owning a boat. Glad it's good to go
