 USB2 not working on HDS 8

Got a Fortrex with USB2. Bought the adapter cable and hooked it to my bow unit (HDS 8, Gen 1). No temp or depth reading. Unit works with external transducer. Anything that commonly goes wrong that I could check/fix?

Did you go into the sonar installation menu and select the generic 83/200 kHz transducer? If so, then I would say that you have eliminated the head unit as the cause since it works properly with the external transducer. That would leave either the adapter cable or US2 transducer as the culprit.
