And it is backordered until 3/7/17. I placed the order a week or so ago and just got an email telling me this. Any of you Humminbird folks know what's up with that? I can cancel the order but something like that I would think would be readily available. I have never had a map card before so I thought I might get some info from some TFF folks with card experience. I can cancel the order if need be.
Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

2017 issues come out sometime in early Spring.
Who did you order the card from????
If you want the 2016 version, some dealers should still have some.

I ordered it straight from hummingbird. I ordered on or about 1/16 and received an email in the next day or so saying the item was back ordered until 1/23. No big deal. Then yesterday I get another email this one indicating that the item will not be available until 3/7. It's not the end of the world it just seems like they could have made things a bit more clear during the ordering process. Hopefully this means I will be getting the latest and greatest version.

Was it really Humminbird or the site FactoryOutletStore?

I just bought a Lakemaster chip yesterday! Should I take it back and wait for the newer version?!

I am pretty sure it was humminbird. The email about the backorder came from support@shopatron.com
