 Recommendation for mounting lowerance hook7

I am looking for advice on mounting a lowerance hook 7 around the console of a 1999 Nitro Fish n Ski. I find a number of bracket systems and need a good idea of where to place the unit. All ideas are welcomed. Recommendations on bracket systems would also be nice.

Balzout is the best but not the cheapest. It adjusts three ways and can be mounted on the side of the console if you need to. Ram mounts get a lot of hype, but will loosen with continuous pounding and you risk having the head slam against the console or deck. Not good.

Balzout are nice, but a 1.5" Ram mount will work also. mount it eye level and as tight as you can get, making it easy to see while running the boat.

I run an Elite 7 HDI on a RAM 1.5" mount. No issues.

Thanks, I'll research the mounts. The windshield is an obstacle I have to work around. I saw a picture of one mounted to the left side of the console and was also considering the space in front of the throttle.
