Thanks for that info. These units could definitely stand some improvement. Maybe it will even help with the stalling while running chart and sonar split....Hopefully.

I tested mine yesterday with the Navionics card. The Elite 7 does not keep u with the GPS above 10mph. The Elite 5 works great.

11/06/2016 - UPDATE of sorts: Went to West Marine Grand Opening and the WM staff and Lowrance guy Ron Jasper re-updated my 7. Seems like the one I did didn't take for whatever reason. Still need to get on the water and see if that fixed the issue with the Navionics.
