I'm planning on networking an 1197, 998, and Helix 10di. Will I be able to see the sonar si/di from the core units transducers on the Helix?
Thanks

Ideally yes, but some have reported not being able to get them to share with the older core units.

Wouldn't there be a software update to fix that. There are still a lot of core units out there.

When you say older, how much older. I'm thinking about the same combination with a Helix 12, a 1199, and a 999, the core units being less than 2 years old.

That setup will be fine, I ran 1199 with a helix 12 without no problems, just will not be able to share chirp with a non chirp unit. Can share the regular 2d though. If I remember correctly it was with **7 to a **9 units. I never tried to network them so I can't say for sure it can't be done
