Do you guys get toll tags for your boat? If so, where you you stick it? I have a t-top, does the toll tag have a clear sight to the toll tag readers? I thought they would just charge to my truck's toll tag but I keep getting a bill for it in the mail.

Don't drive on toll roads. It's nothing but a money grab for the state. I have yet to drive on a single one of them and I get where I'm going with no problems at all. I pay to use roads every time I buy gas. I'll do whatever it takes to starve our bloated self-serving government out of a single dollar at any level.

Contact the toll tag company. It is suppose to be per axle. It is probably that they don't have the trailer license plate attached to that toll tag and it is reading it as a separate vehicle.

Every single highway is a toll road now. Contact the toll tag company. It is suppose to be per axle. Ended up calling them. They had to issue me another tag but I do not have to physically place it on the trailer. Now my trailer should be linked to my acct. Thanks Bobby Milam for the suggestion.

I do the 130 getting to Austin Bergstrom. I don't like it, but it is much more efficient than going through Austin from the North.

The only one I use is the one that loops around Austin when I am driving thru. Not sure but was thinking the state didn't fund that road nor maintain it.Could be mistaken but anyway it saves me time.

You are correct. Most of 130 is owned by some Spanish company. Another reason not to drive on it. It's a matter or principal. I feel like I pay for the right to use the roads every time I buy gas and I'll sit on a feeder and wait for a light before I pay more to drive on them. I guess I'm just hard headed. If people would stop driving on the tolls, a lot of that BS would go away, but as long as there are people willing pay for "convenience", that's probably not going to happen.

toll roads are built from bond money paid with tolls, not our gas tax. the tolls pay for the construction and maintenance of those roads as well as the road side assistance. Just a convenience paid for only by those that use it. I use to swear I'd never drive one b/c I already paid taxes, then moved to the dfw area:)
