i am wanting to install a led light to an acc. switch on a 2013 z520c. should i try it or is it pretty complicated?

Very, very simple. Negative straight to the battery. Positive to the switch and another positive from the switch to the battery. Make sure that you have an inline fuse if the switch does not have one already on it.

Your acc with will already have a pig tail wire stubbed and waiting it will be orange with a strip and there should be a spare black wire stubbed for the ground.
