Does anyone know what causes a 55 lb. wireless MG TM to turn in all directions but the propeller will not turn. Motor has worked good for three years but has sat for a year due to chemo. Any useful info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Could be a bad controller board, or it may have water in the lower unit when it was set up and rust has locked it up. In the top of the trolling motor head, you'll see two wire going down the shaft. Apply 12V to these two wires and see if the motor spins wide open. If it doesn't, there is a lower unit problem.

Thanks, it was stored in my shed and it spins freely. I will try your fix. Thanks again.
