Okay folks, I fished the BFL on Toledo yesterday and for most of the morning it was a wee bit wet. I take that back, it was WET!

Anyway I did not take my Goretex, something told me it might be a little warm. So I took another major brand and I'm not really sure why I bothered, my butt got soaked.

So I am looking for feedback on rain gear that would be good for wearing in Texas.

Thanks.

I like Columbia, light weight and makes a good wind breaker.

I carry a cheap rain parka from Academy. It lives in the back of some compartment until it might be needed.

I own both the BPS 100 mph suit and Frogg Toggs. Between the two, I stay dry.
