Do y'all think a14x14 inch box anchor is big enough to hold a 18.5 ft pontoon. Mostly fishing lake Proctor.

Yes. I had never used them and I planned on fishing Friday and my little 16' boat is down. Thursday night I built two of them 12"x12" and used them Friday. They held My 22' CC with a T-Top like a jug in 20 Mph wind. I used one off the front and one off the rear to keep it from swinging around as the wind was variable. At one point I used just the front one and it never drug the anchor. I only used 20' of rope in 14' of water.

Most guys use 2 . One off the front and one off the back to stop swinging.
Most of these catfish guys fish 10 to 18 rods so the boat cannot swing or a big mess.
