I saw boarding ladders that fastened to boat trailer that allows one to keep relatively dry when boarding a boat to unload. I think it was at the show in Mesquite last year. Anyone have any suggestions for an old cooter whose fishing partner want go except on the most pleasant days.

Any form of ladder and grab post is a great idea for todays bigger boats. Might also check on the system Skeeter is now using, nice big steps but doesn't have the grab post so possibly cheaper cost? Regardless any brand will make it easier and safer to board your boat on the ramp.

I had one on my old boat and it worked GREAT! My new boat (BassCat) has their own version but the Easy Steps was better.

Ron from Easy Step said their ladder would not work on my Roadmaster trailer with CC boat. Any other brands out there?

I have these on the front of my trailer. My old friend and fishing buddy, Olhipi, on the forum designed them and when I was at his house, he was down with a bug so I paid his grandson a hundred bucks to weld it up for me. If he had done the welding it wou;d have cost me anything. He also built a set for Chemdawg and I went up tp Copperas Cove and installed them for him..

Since being installed, I had to have the hand rail beefed up and I secured the steps to the winch post to minimize movement when I step on it. it works great since I'm almost always alone when I launch and load.

Easy Step out of Mt. Pleasant, is easy to install and makes boarding a boat on the trailer nice and easy.
