In Rough Water Mode can you hear the unit working? Just bought a new Talon and the Rough Water light comes on but no sounds of the auto drive working after deployment.

I havent noticed any noise from mine in rough water mode. I think at just allows the poles to move up and down more freely with the boat rather than staying at one fixed length.

RW-mode also drives the pole into the bottom some addition times.
