i have an Xpress boat with the live well in front of the console. The well is aluminum and not insulated. In hot weather Fish die. I have a bubbler system and an Oxygenator that keep the water aeriated. I need this well insulated OR>>? Ice will not help as the water gets HOT. I do have the top of the well insulated but this is not the answer.. Do I need to remove and replace......? or is there a Fix that I have not thought of?
For the next few months I will be using a large cooler with a bubbler system as my live well. Not a fix but will save the bass. I have done this before but it takes up so much room in the boat.
Looking for an answer ..

I’ve heard that guys will line the inside of the hot boxes with styrofoam but have no experience with them. Can you pump water from the lake through and out of the livewell? If you can remove that box and line the outside with 1/4” of foil backed foam board it will make a big difference.
