I've been thinking of mounting a hotfoot on my boat but I have long legs and not sure if I have the room under the console for it. How far from the back wall of the console does it need to set in order to not interfere with opening to WOT? I've never had one before.

Mine has around 3" between the back of the pedal and the LSS2 box that is mounted under the console. Pedal travel is only a couple inches.

Thank you. I've never used one before.

You could consider getting the slide mount and that would make the hotfoot adjustable as well.
