I have been inputting GPS coordinates off of the TPWD website for crappie structure, I am only focusing on putting in central Texas lakes. When I went to put Lake Waco om the coordinates have more numbers than I can put in my Lowrance Elite-4 chirp. My question is how what numbers do I need to leave off? I put in Tradinghouse and Brazos Lake without any issues. I still have Waco and Aquilla to put in. Looking for a little advice, I am very new to the electronic game but I can see where I would be a game changer. Also if anyone feels charitable and would like to share some coordinates I would gladly take them. This will be used on my kayak.

The website I am inputting:

It has been a long time since I have done much with actual coordinates so forgive me it I am too rusty to be of good assistance.

The best that I can remember is you are wanting to do degrees/minutes/seconds for the Lowrance. What you see on that map is degrees/decimal. You need to find a converter so you can input the numbers from the map and get them changed to the format that you have been using.

I tried using several online tools in attempt to convert after Dayne's advice and it is close to the lake but not exactly where they are supposed to be. Show up on land vs. water, and a good distance from the water .5 miles

You don't need to convert anything.
Change your unit's GPS format to DD.DDDDD and enter the numbers as they show on the Lake Waco list. If you run out of number spaces, that's OK, use what you can.

I just did that first one with one of my Humminbird units and it is on a line of fish attractors that are on the Lakemaster map north of a boat ramp about 8' depth under a bridge.

Looking at Google Earth, it is on the East side of the fourth bridge piling from the East shore or 597 feet North of the ramp.

+1
Or just download the GPX option from TPWD site & import with the Elite.

Make sure you're converting in the same datum format.
