I have a 1990 Ranger and installed the Comfort troll tray. The drain tube I assume should go down to a channel in the bottom of the boat. I dug out the foam and found what looks to be a pvc conduit rather that a channel. Is that what I am looking for and if so, do I need to drill a hole in it to attach the drain tube to? I am at a loss here.
Thanks

I'm betting that may be the routing for the front wiring. I'd be very careful about doing anything to it until I found out for sure. When I had on put in my old Champ. It just drained to the bilge.

You should remove the front panel and look for the forward (open) end of that same PVC tube. If it's just "there" but has nothing in it (wiring) then I believe it's safe to assume it's a drain line used to move errant water from the bow area to the bilge. I think I recall seeing something like that in my 521 when I had the bow open, but you need to confirm it doesn't have any wiring in it before you can assume it's a drain line.

Most boats wouldn't have the need for a drain line as they aren't so fully foamed in like a Ranger.
