Will the Ultrex work with the 997 technology or does it have to be new technology?

The only thing you can use between a 997 and Ultrex is the US2 transducer and then you would loose SI/DI.

An Ultrex with iPilot LINK is an Ethernet connection to a Humminbird unit with Ethernet and the 997 does not have Ethernet capability.
