Just purchased a 1994 Javelin 19' bass boat...its the 389t model and in pristine condition for the age.
Most of the gauges look old and dont work. Whats a good start to check these or replace. Are all the wires on the back of the gauges wired into the main plug that plugs into motor?
Where do I need to go from each to test? Only one or so light up as well. It looks like the fuel gauge isnt the original, but all the others look original.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

If in doubt....replace Check for corrosion at terminals Breakers or a fuse block? Are the fuel lines Black? Replace with the good gray stuff. Replace primer bulb.

The boat is well maintained. Fuel lines and all that are good. Boat is clean. Just most gauges don't work. Are they all wired into the main harness? If that's the case, then I bet it's just the gauge that's dead.
All I want is rpm, trim gauge, and fuel. I could just get solid blank plates for the rest.
