I need to come up with something different for my boat..
I tried using the livewell with aerator in my jon boat, everything dies in a few hours..

I think the heat in the summer is partly to blame.

Thinking of the Engle cooler/aerator setup or just buying an aerator for a small extra cooler I have.

Looking for ideas on what has worked well for you guys.
Went to Academy and looked at options, the small battery powered pumps are conveniant but do they put out enough air to really keep things alive.

Thanks in advance

It may not be the air, it might be the cooking you're giving them on the boat. Try putting 1-2 frozen water bottles in the livewell.

yeah, I was definitely thinking the heat may be a problem. I like to do a lot of wade fishing with artificials and don't do a lot of fishing from the boat.

I had the idea about frozen water bottles.
Thanks
