Where to buy the tee handle cord replacement? I don't need the handle just a new cord. I don't want to pay ten times what a small cord should sell for from Minn Kota. Can you find the same type cord at a box hardware store? I want a spare are two in the storage bin of my boat for backup. I want the same tough stuff that I have now. It would be nice to give my fishing buddies one are two for their boat. Let me know what you have done about this.

Ace hardware. Plastic coated cable. Same as a high dollar one. Make your own handle. Tee handle or stirrup strap. Easy to do on the workbench in the garage.

Best cord material I have found to date is pull cord for lawn mowers. It's cheap and it holds up great. I keep an extra cord in my boat just incase.

After researching paracord, that stuff is very cheap. the 550 is like $5 for 30 feet

Go to Academy and get you one of the steel cables versions it replaces the rope and last alot better. About 30.00 bucks
