I am thinking to replace my eagle 320c and 640 c with the hook 9 that will be on sale neat friday in the BPS 6 hour sale. Any opinions pro or con would be welcomed.

If don't own Navionics card you can get this one:000-12667-001 It comes with the Navionics The most important thing to do is to install the latest software update; some stores offer to do that for you, just ask and if not do it youreself The update is: http://www.lowrance.com/en-US/Software-Updates/hook-software-20/
