Plastic floats for boats

They have those plastic floats for jetskies where you drive up on the float and it gets the jetski out of the water. Do they make anything like that for a bassboat?
I could save alot of money by going to a slip without a hoist if they make something like this.

A Hoist to get your boat off the trailer? Trying to get a visual on this. Why can't you back a trailer in the water and drive off and on?

A float would allow me to go from a slip with a hoist to one without a hoist and still have the boat above the water. Those are nice lifts but as you said, expensive.
