Which is the best choice. Replacing a lowrance shoot thru hull transducer. Epoxy or fiberglass resin?

Epoxy.
Slowly mix the epoxy to minimize air bubbles. Lightly sand the bottom of the transducer. As you place the transducer into the epoxy, press and twist until contact is made with hull. Weight transducer down and let dry 24 hrs.

Resin is one of the two components used to mix epoxy, the other being hardener. It is not a useable component in itself.

I like to replace the xducers every few years just to have the best signal available. I would never glass one in. With epoxy you can pop them out for replacements quite easily.
