I have a Lowrance HD-7, I purchased a boat that has a Humminbird 798 SI. Does anyone know if I run the Lowrance on 2D only and the Humminnbird on SI, will they interfere with each other. Of course that will be mounted apart.
Thanks.

Should not be any interference, 2 different frequencies, Humminbird has the 455,800 options for si & di. Higher than the Lowrance 2d frequencies

Yes they will cross talk using the same sonar frequencies.
Both use 83 and 200 kHz for 2D sonar.
You would have to use 83 KHz with the Lowrnance since Humminbird units use 200 kHz all the time for the depth readout.
