Adding a new graph(HDS-9 or HDS-12) and never had to mount a unit on a mount because my HDS-7 is in the dash so I am curious if the RAM mount is a sufficient mount or if a Balzout is truly worth the $200. Opinions?

Ram Mount Ram-D111U-C will work well.

BalZout will also work well if you have a flat surface to mount to.

I have the Red BalZout Mount in stock.....$165.00

I'm using the Cisco Electronics mount for 2 years now. I'm very happy, it's rock solid

I prefer the RAM-109H Marine Ram Single Swing. On the bow and console so all I have to do is swap out. Very sturdy. Also 1/2 the price.
