I recently bought a Motor guide Xi5 and no longer use my foot pedal. I want to remove the recessed tray and replace with a bin for storage. Has anyone done this? Any ideas where I can get one made in DFW?

A custom cabinetmaker shop may be able to help. They are small shops located everywhere. The custom builders all use them. Just an idea. If you want metal use a custom metal fab shop. Same deal.

TAKE A PHOTO HOME NOT THE FISH. CATCH AND RELEASE
Set the hook first and ask questions later.

Check out Tempress. They make a lot of bins with matching hatch covers. A lot of the boat builders use them for adding storage compartments.

Could you just build or get built a cover for the trolling motor tray? I could see a simple lid with a couple thumb screws or a piano hinge for the lid...
