Guys, I'm ready to finish the installation on my "New To Me" Lowrance HDS 10 Gen 2 with the LSS-2 bundle. The unit is mounted on a Ranger 188VS to the right on the steering wheel on the console, standard installtion location. I've completed routing all the wire from the transducer/s to underneath the console and completed on all the wiring for power to the units. I'm looking for options to drilling a large hole in the console to pull the wiring through to connect to the back of the unit. If anyone has seen other ways of completing this part of the connection, would really appreciate either hearing, or even better seeing, an alternate method.

If I ended up drilling a hole in the console, a 1.0" - 1.5" to pull the wiring through, I've been looking for a grommet that will fit the hole. Given the thickness of the fiberglass on the console, which is about .5", I haven't found a grommet that will work. Any ideas of what to use other than a grommet?
