Okay, so I bought a beater jet ski to mess with, got it running, lake tested and found out it leaks. About a gallon an hour. It has already been wired for a bilge pump with a switch, kind of like a choke switch. Pull it out and it's running, pushed in is off. The thing is, it's dead. I was messing with the switch before I knew what it was and I killed the battery and the pump in one go. I replaced the battery but I don't know what kind of pump to wire back into it. Any ideas?

Scott

You should be able to get one at walmart or any place like Academy. Just find one of similar size that will fit in the old pumps location and if you have room, maybe even add a float so it will automatically turn on and off. If it is taking on that much water, I'd look into buying something like this

That way it will automatically drain itself while you are driving.

I don't think those versiplugs will fit this model. It is a 98 gp760 or some such. And I only paid 400 so I'm not really wanting to dump a lot of money into it. As long as it stays floating while I'm out on it, I'm happy.
