 Minn Kota auto pilot 55ap not spinning to the left

My trolling motor will only spin to the right even when I'm pressing on my foot pedal on the left side, is the issue in the foot pedal and should I get a new foot pedal?

Could be the foot pedal, or could be the AP module. I would another foot pedal first. Does it do the same with the hand fob -- or do you have a hand fob?

No hand fob, I did have it disconnected from the battery for a while and when I rebooked it up it worked fine for a few seconds and then the problem started, I think I will try switching out the foot pedal first and then go from there, thanks for the reply
