Is this going to be local lakes like a metro tournament should be or will there be extensive travel to each tournament? Also, will the members get to vote on the lakes of choice (Locally) or does the TD get to choose the lakes?

Heres the schedule http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/users/26699/Jons3825
Hello Couples. I am sure you have heard that Fun n Sun is starting a couples trail for 2019. There will be 2 divisions, East and Metro. Angela and I will be running the East, Jimmy and Chris Erwin will be running the Metro. TBC is not going away this is just something new. Fun n Sun is adding $500.00 to every tournament in both regions. I have talked to my 2018 sponsors and they are coming also. It should be no problem having $1000.00 added to the pot for each East Region tournament. I will let Jimmy Erwin update you on the Metro sponsors. Membership will be $35.00 per couple and entry fee is $100.00 per tournament. We will have a true 85% payback at the ramp, Plus the sponsor added money. We are working on a website and FB page. Just wanted to get our 2019 schedule out. I will try and keep everyone updated.
Please call or email me with any questions or suggestions. This should be fun and a lot of awesome memories made.
2019 Schedule:
East Region
January 27. Martin Creek
February 24. Palestine
March 24. Lake Tyler
April 14. Bob Sandlin
May 5. Cedar Creek
June 2. Lake O the Pines

Metro
January 20. Squaw Creek
February 17. Granbury
March 17. Eagle Mountain
April 21. Whitney
May 19. Ray Roberts
June 16. Joe Pool

More updates as I get them.

I wish I could find a couples trail that doesn't penalize my wife and I for not fishing every tournament. We can't get babysitters for both of us to be gone all day very often. Some other trails require us to pay for other tournaments not fished or something like that, I can't remember. I can probably only get my wife out a couple of these each year with kids at home to figure out. She didn't like my idea of just throwing some Cheerios on the floor to keep them fed for the day. I guess I'm looking for something a little less hardcore.

I hope they have rules to protect the one and done teams or Jackpotters. Need teams that support all year not just lakes that are their special home lake. Rules for how many tournaments you can fish with one in boat or allow substitutes to maintain two in boat. This is a couples tournament if they want to fish a individual tournament they are plenty of those to chose from. Just my opinion.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by jackpotter and one and done?

Pretty sure one and done or jackpot fishing a tournament is when you choose to just fish the one tournament on you home lake and make extra money instead of fishing most of the trail.

Got it, thanks. I wonder how often that actually happens. I fish tournaments on my home lake routinely but have never won any money even though I fish there often.
So if someone chooses a tournament that's not their home lake, is that different?
