HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The Bass Pro Shop Grapevine Series along with the TFF will be hosting a special New Year charity bass tournament benefitting one of our own, Darryl Roach and his family! This event was originally scheduled earlier this month but was rescheduled due to weather. THIS EVENT WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE! Come kick off the New Year and join us on Saturday January 7th! I promise that this will be a first-class event and a lot of fun. Regardless if the weather is cold or the fishing slow, come join us for the first big tournament of the New Year as well as help raise the very needed funds to help Darryl and his family!
The Christmas Charity Tournament is back folks!!
This year we will be helping one of our own that has fallen on difficult times. Many of you here know Darryl, he's a fellow TFF member, fisherman, tournament director, and just an all around good guy. Darryl has been dealing with health issues since June, in and out of the hospital and on and off a feeding tube. During this time he has been unable to work, being forced to sell off belongings, and potentially having to move out of their house to try and make ends meet... and that does not take into consideration the continued cost of medical treatments he faces. The doctors have now determined that Darryl will have to undergo surgery to have the "Whipple Procedure" done on November 14th. Recovery time from that procedure will be approximately 6 months. Now more than even one of our own needs us... We will have many ways to donate available at the event, so even if you don't fish the tournament please come join us at weigh in and help out a fellow fisherman in need. Check back on the main post in the bass fishing section often for updates and more details on prizes, food, games, and other fun stuff to enjoy while raising money for a great cause!
Instead of a toy each angler will be asked to donate a minimum of two canned food items to be donated to the food bank
Registration and Weigh in will be run by the best in the biz, Scott Gordon!! He will have the full stage set up and rockin!

Open registration and angler check-in will start at 4:30am at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine. ALL ANGLERS/TEAMS MUST BRING THEIR BOAT TO BASS PRO SHOPS IN GRAPEVINE when registering for live-well inspection by tournament staff.
All anglers/teams will be allowed to launch at the ramp of their choice after check-in. First cast will be at 6:30am and all fishing must stop by 3:00pm. All anglers/teams must then proceed directly to Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine for weigh-in and must be in line at the tanks no later than 4:00pm! PLEASE MAKE SURE TO ALLOW FOR TIME TO TRAILER YOUR BOAT TO BASS PRO SHOPS IN GRAPEVINE FOR WEIGH-IN! THERE WILL BE NO LATE CHECK-IN!

ENTRY: $120 PER BOAT (INCLUDES BIG BASS) + (2) canned food items(PER ANGLER)
FORMAT: OPEN TEAM/INDIVIDUAL (ANGLERS CHOICE)
PAYBACK: 85% (1 in 5) 15% OF ENTRY FEE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO DARRYL ROACH AND HIS FAMILY
