I will be in Collin Park at the boat ramp by the Marina on Thursday April 14th at 4:45 pm to get everyone signed up for the Lavon Lake Thursday Evening Tournament. Participants can start leaving marina at 5:40pm to go to their fishing spots. The first 200 members will receive a Strike King Gift Pack valued at $25 to offset the $25 annual membership. On Lavon Lake, a Largemouth Bass must be 14 inches to qualify for weigh-in. A smallmouth Bass must be at least 14 inches to qualify for weigh-in. Kentucky Spotted Bass must be 14 inches to qualify for weigh-in. The Super Bass must be 8 1/2lbs. or larger to qualify.

The Lavon Evening Series Tournament has been cancelled because of a low turnout. I called the previously attending participants and most were unable to fish for an undetermined amount of time because damage sustained from the significant hail storm that hit the area. The Top points Winner from Lavon will receive a paid entry into the Championship and the top 50% of the field will qualify for The King of The Evening Tournaments Championship. I have had a lot of interest in having a Thursday Evening Tournament on Cedar Creek Lake and will be moving the event to Cedar Creek Lake at Log Cabin Park Boat Ramp Starting May 5th.
